Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a SpeedSignal account you agree to these Terms. If you are using SpeedSignal on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Description of service

SpeedSignal provides synthetic web performance testing, reporting, and AI-generated recommendations. Features vary by subscription tier as described on our pricing page.

3. Account terms

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

4. Acceptable use

You may only run tests against URLs you own or have explicit permission to test. You may not use SpeedSignal to conduct denial-of-service attacks, probe for security vulnerabilities without authorisation, or send spam. We may suspend accounts that violate this policy without notice.

5. Payment and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Failure to pay will result in downgrade to the Free plan after a grace period.

6. Intellectual property

SpeedSignal and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SpeedSignal and protected by intellectual property law. Your test data and reports remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the service.

7. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your profile settings. We may terminate or suspend accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your data will be deleted after the 30-day retention window described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SpeedSignal. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SpeedSignal operates, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice on the service at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
